nTtau Digital at OSSFE 2025

The Open-Source Software for Fusion Energy (OSSFE) conference is a fantastic opportunity for researchers and developers to share advancements in open-source software within the fusion energy industry. At the conference in March 2025, our team at nTtau Digital presented work in several key areas where we have contributed to this endeavour; this includes work with advanced open-source software (including OpenMC, OpenFOAM and MOOSE), in-house magnetic codes, AI optimisation workflows and automation in Galaxy. We have used these advances to aid fusion customers in the design of their machines.

This work, in the form of scientific posters, can be viewed below. All of our capabilities are in the process of being wrapped up into our comprehensive and automated design platform, NuPlant.

Poster 1: Automation of Multi-Physics Simulations: Coupling OpenFOAM and OpenMC for Fusion Applications

Poster 2: Methodological Advancements in Open-Source Fusion Energy Simulations using OpenMC

Poster 3: Automated Stellarator Design using Open-Source Magnet Codes and AI Optimization

Poster 4: Multi-Objective Optimization for Fusion Energy (MOO)

Poster 5: Workflow Automation for Fusion Power Plant Design Using Galaxy Workflows

We will be presenting further advancements to our automated stellarator design workflow, and new transmutation studies in OpenMC at OSSFE 2026, held in Munich.
